A Short Treatise on the Syriac and of their Nature In class B By E.M.A. (EGO Mos Agnosco)
The “Syriac”, being the name used by the Temple of the Syriac, are a series of thirteen and one concepts that define what makes up the omniverse. They are not only the Deities of the temple, but permanent, omnipresent laws of nature, inherent in every way, and in every corner and outskirt of existence. Among them, there are five elementals, and eight structurals. Among the five elementals, their respective elements are both literal and symbolic.
Talison Asha’el Driawannia – Lord of Fire, Ruler of the Path of Fire-
The Lord of fire is in fact fire itself. We are not only talking about physical fire, (the rapid oxidation of a material in the chemical process of combustion, releasing heat, light, and various other products.) we are talking about a symbolic “fire” that is more a complex series of associations. Symbolically, fire is the purifying and destroying element. It burns the extra away from the central, purifying it as it does so. Fire is the essence of the chaotic energy, not in the “random” sense, but in the mathematical sense: a chaotic dynamic system with deterministic behavior that is very sensitive to its initial conditions.
Talison Teomin Shalloque – Lady of Water, Ruler of the Path of Water-
Water is the ordered and shaping element. It is not the flowing liquid that we think of when we hear the word. It is the perfectly ordered crystalline structure that is left after all other elements are removed from it. Liquid water is a mixture of Water and Fire, thus the chaotic aspect of flowing streams. Think of water as being the same as stone; both will melt under the right amount of heat, but that state is not their purest form. Water is the essence of ordered energy. It is the concept of boundaries, fixed, moveable, real, and imaginary. It is the concept of “system”. This contrasts that of Fire which is fractal. Water is the condensing, where fire is the expanding.
Talison Eôth Azradian – Lord of Air, Ruler of the Path of Air, Arbiter of the Council-
Air is the moving and flowing element. When we think of Air, we do not think totally of the wind. It is the organic motion, moving through physicality by the path of least resistance. Air is considered a mixture element although it is, at the same time one of the four primal constructs. Air is the essence of Non-directed Motion. In physics, motion is change of location or position of an object or energy with respect to timespace. Because time is a system under the Syriac Teomin, Eôth interacts with Teomin just as Teomin interacts with Asha’el. Just as Phrath is the directed motion embodied in Inertia, Eôth is the undirected motion embodied in spontaneity. This is the reason that Eôth is the arbiter of the Council.
Talison Arke’therion Phrath Acheon – Lady of Earth, Ruler of the Path of Earth-
Earth is the inertial and resistive element. Unlike water, Earth is not a perfectly ordered system filled with crystalline structure; rather, it is the manifestation of physicality. The Alchemist Sir Isaac Newton defined inertia in Definition 3 of his Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica, which states: “The vis insita, or innate force of matter is a power of resisting, by which every body, as much as in it lies, endeavors to preserve in its present state, whether it be of rest, or of moving uniformly forward in a straight line.”[1] Inertia, in simpler terms means that an object will always continue moving at its current speed and in its current direction until some force causes its speed or direction to change. This would include an object or energy that is not in motion, which will remain at rest until some force causes it to move, which is also why The Syriac Phrath exists in conjunction with Eôth, like Teomin exists with Asha’el.
Talison Makoresh Blanzar Taglos – Creator, the All and the Nothing-
Makoresh cannot be explained or defined past the statement that it is All things in and out of existence, both the all and the nothingness that all things come out of. Makoresh has been called Brahmin without qualities since ancient times. The nature of Makoresh is intimate, distant, and associative, all in union and at the same time. Makoresh is the phenomena of consciousness, the origin of all energy and matter.
Talison Ruachazaz’el Mephrazel’sysem- Lord of Art, Path of Air-
Art is the conscious act of taking the four elements through the concentration of the fifth and creating a new form. Painting is the act of creating a picture and emotion through the use of pigment on a base. Sculpture is removing extra material to capture a specific image and elicit an emotional response from the viewers. Poetry is the act of creating emotional responses and pictures using nothing more than language. Art is trying to express the absolute in the finite. Seeing self in others. Seeing others in self. Giving Birth is an act of creation. It is a group effort of the mother, the father and the child being born. The life created will go on to create its own path. Creation in all of its forms is the expression of godhood. Art is the act of Conscious Creation, and it is also the seeking of the expression of the transfinite. Some argue that because art requires consciousness, it is not inherent in nature, and thus not a Syriac. This is a flawed thought. Because consciousness is an inherent aspect of natural phenomena, like the concepts of Teomin and Eôth, The concepts of Mephrazel’sysem and the Syriac pertaining to the concepts of consciousness do not exist without each-other, but they both do exist as inherent aspects of nature.
Talison Ruachanzar Hiddikel – Lady of Beauty, Path of Air
“Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.” This is a true statement, for we discern beauty. Beauty is a perception. Discernment comes from awareness of self and surroundings. This usually begins around the age of two in a human being and is fully formed about the age of eight or nine. Psychology calls this stage individualization. Beauty is the recognition that you can label the universe for yourself. To perceive beauty is to experience the transfinite. It is a very close concept to Magick. Beauty is seeing the self in other things. It is the recognition of the oneness with all things and the resulting joy from that recognition. Some argue that this is anthropomorphizing nature, but again only because consciousness is required to “perceive”, but again, because consciousness is an inherent phenomena in nature, the perception of beauty is simply another co-relation concept also inherent in nature.
Talison Ashma’el Lavaneben –Lady of Dynamic Tension, Path of Fire-
The system of attractors that remain out of balance, causing a potentiality in which change is not only possible but necessary. This Broken Symmetry[2] concept co-relates with that of Asha’el in that fact that it deals with initial conditions. Sudden shifts or breaks in dynamic equilibrium arising from small changes in circumstances due to initial conditions which co-relates with the concepts of Dina’el creating a constant push and pull which defines dynamic tension. Thus the concepts of Lavaneben co-exists with the equal and opposite concepts of Dina’el which in turn co-exist with all the rest of the fourteen Syriac.
Talison Ruachshar Cocytus – Lord of Journey, Path of Air
The concept of journey co-relates with the concepts of Teomin’s time system, and Phrath’s mass concept which co-relate with each-other. The time average of a journey along any particular path exists almost everywhere[3] as it pertains to mass. The time average is the same for almost all initial points, or another way of putting this is that the act to journey begins at the same dynamic point which corresponds with Asha’el’s initial conditions, but because the journey that evolves for a long time "forgets" its initial state because of the phenomena of consciousness, it corresponds with Lavaneben’s broken symmetry concept. Because the act of journeying denotes a journeyer, the concept of consciousness is also in integral union with the concept of Eoth’s non-directed motion or force.
Talison Ruach’tzaddai Gihon – Lady of Union, Path of Air-
This is the moment at which the consciousness of the journeyer changes to a more settled existence, thus corresponding with Dina’el’s dynamic equilibrium. In this crossing, the conscious understanding of Teomin’s concept of ordered separateness is switched to the equal and opposite understanding of oneness through separateness, thus corresponding with Lavaneben’s dynamic tension concept. For our consciousness, it is the importance of the self for the importance of the community. This is a conscious choice that alters the way in which we interact. It is a place of service and teaching; helping those newly re-born survive in the reality of the world. This is the time of union, thus correlating with Teomin’s time system, and with dynamic equilibrium and tension. Union is the essence of the achievement of the transfinite.
Talison Maimshorth Dina’el – Lord of Dynamic Equilibrium, Path of Water-
The system of attractors that remains in perfect balance, causing a stasis in which change is not possible. Again, Newton is quoted in his laws of motion, “For every action there is an opposite and equal reaction.”[4] Dynamic Equilibrium is most easily understood through the study of the yin-yang symbol of Classical Chinese mystical studies. It involves understanding the proper proportion of masculine and feminine energies that are necessary to exert in specific situations. Dina’el is the essence of supersymmetry. This concept is that for every thing, there is an opposite and equal thing or non-thing, but this symmetry is broken because of the equal and opposite concepts of Lavaneben, that of dynamic tension. Moreover, it is through the breaking of super-symmetry that the omniverse of physicality was born.
Talison Ashyetzir’el Shachoreben – Lord of Magick, Path of Fire-
Magick is, at its core, consciousness’s ability to conform the universe to its will. This little phrase requires that a person understand the nature of their actual wills as opposed to the desires and drives of the ego, or little ‘i’. This corresponds with Gihon’s concept of union with the transfinite which is the realization of the true will. Magick is the act to touch that transfinite, rather than try to change it to be what our little ‘i’ thinks it should be; a fine distinction in many cases. With the use of Magick comes the Duty to teach others. One attains understanding of their actual wills in two ways: through a life time of accumulated experience and of application, or through divine inspiration. Magick is the application of the Will to daily life. It is the conscious act of recognizing the oneness and the joy inherent in the experience of that oneness. It is the realization that all things are I.
Talison Maimcoron Amphrodias – Lady of Souls, Path of Water-
Amphrodias is death, the ordered transformation or metamorphosis of energy from one state to another. She is the Shepard that guides the splinter experiences of Syriac back to the oneness and forth into singularness. The concepts of transformation and metamorphosis relate to the concepts of Teomin, as it is ordered and not chaotic, and yet it also is dynamic in the sense that it in-and-of itself is an omnipresent function in nature. Amphrodias governs the transitions from one experience to another, both within the individual life and between the lives. The Soul is the multiplication of Syriac that makes up the hosts of heaven that came into being when Syriac decided to experience life as the individual within the reality created by the conglomeration of the twelve other Syriac. When we die, the nature of Amphrodias is to take us to our origin, and if we should so choose, to our next form, but she is also the concept which allows us to change. Without death, all life would stagnate. Death is not always the decomposition of the body, but rather a transformation. This can be in thought, physical body, or even of astral form. A realization of the oneness is death. Death is life.
Talison Syriac Blanzar PTae-The Quintessence-
When the universe awoke, when Makoresh knew, Syriac was and is the “Knowing”. Syriac, creation of Makoresh, brought into being the twelve and the infinite hosts of heaven. It is the “breath of life” The One who became the Multitude, the fifth element, the Quintessence. It explains the Order of the Universe. It is the intelligence that holds the other elements in a coherent pattern, through the natures of the twelve. It is the Ability to Know. Syriac gave of itself creating within all living things the Ability to Know, bringing into being the Soul. As humans, we are multiplications of Syriac, holding within our being the spark of that transcendental thing that is our origin and our self.
